Lancashire v Surrey – D40 Quest

GAME CANCELLED DUE TO PRESEASON WEATHER

The pre season weather and ground preparations meant there would be no play this weekend for the Squad as we looked to put our winter training into action against Surrey.

The county was scoured for weeks in the build up to the weekend, from Lancaster to EOT, Milnrow to Firwood Bootle, every time we received the green light, down came the rains and back to the drawing board it was.

Hopefully this Sunday (5th May) will see the first outing for our Development Side as we make the short trip to Cheshire. This squad will give those players that are limited to game time, the opportunity to take the lead and get some regular cricket. It will also give the opportunity for players returning from Injury some vital time on the field as they look to get back in the main squad.
